The initial consultation includes professional time both before and after your appointment, as well as the consultation itself. Before we meet, time is spent reviewing the information you provide and preparing for your consultation. During the consultation, we explore your digestive symptoms, diet, lifestyle and health history in detail. Afterwards, additional time is dedicated to reviewing your case, carrying out relevant research and developing your personalised Nutritional Therapy plan and recommendations.

The follow-up consultation includes time to review your progress, symptoms and response to your personalised plan. We discuss what has changed, what is working well and any difficulties you may be experiencing. Where relevant, time may also be spent reviewing and interpreting test findings and considering how they relate to your overall case. Additional work may be carried out after the consultation to update your recommendations, so your plan can be adjusted according to your progress, test findings and changing needs.

Where appropriate, functional laboratory testing may be considered to provide additional information relevant to your digestive health. Not everyone will need testing, and any recommended test will be discussed with you in advance, including its purpose, limitations and cost. Test findings can then be reviewed alongside your symptoms, health history and other information to help inform your personalised plan.
